- When I dropped Jackson off at school one morning, Ms. Sarah (who is African American) was telling me that yesterday they were each supposed to go find something brown to bring to the carpet… and he went and picked a brown baby. She was so proud of him! 😂
- I have a (well I think it is) cute shirt that has slits in each shoulder. Upon getting dressed one morning and going to wake him up: "why are there holes in your shoulders? I don't like it. Can you pick a different shirt?"
- He referred to my mom’s night out as “Mom’s Hide Out”... I think that's pretty accurate!! ;)

Except... remember that "mom's hide out" night? There was a LOT of chocolate consumption, and maybe a cocktail or two also. I ordered the pajamas that night, I remember feeling very alert and a little bit loopy. I had to get the kids ones and the dog/adult ones on two different sites, and there were two different patterns I liked and apparently I didn't order the same ones for everyone. WHOOPS!
