October 2016

We love the fall, Halloween, and pumpkins!

The boys really wanted to try out a banana split, and we told them we would get them one if they kept their play room clean for a whole week!
Jackson brought his grocery cart to the grocery store with me one day :).  It looks like he got a little stopped up in the wine section, but there were also fun talking Skeleton decorations.
Couldn't decide between two Costco costumes for Mason
He is more excited about the Knight than he looks here, but he makes a pretty awesome Swash-buckler too!
 Light bulb changing supervision
 Hiking boys!
No more "ride it backpack" for Jack!
This boy loves a full bed of books at night!
Breakfast with Daddy one morning before music class! <3

Sweet serenade by the boys at dinner one night
 Chef guy #2!!!

More serenading... this was a slow sentimental song <3

We love Gordon's Pumpkin Farm!!

Our UPS man showed up one day with this pumpkin for Jim!  Apparently they talked all about the Star Warriors last Christmas when we put up all our blow ups.  So impressive!
This pretty much sums itself up,
and sums up Jackson's personality pretty well too!
Friday night lights!
Anacortes high school football game
Mason "paid" for his own haircut!

HALLOWEEN!
There were so many fun events to squeeze in!
First we went trick or treating in downtown Anacortes

There's always a photography studio that does free pictures.
We always do it, but I never remember to go pick them up!
While downtown, we went to the Elk's lodge festival
Then we went to the Fall Family Fun Fest at our church
Came home and Mason wanted a costume change
And then trick or treating in the neighborhood next door with Mae and Eleanor!
Phew, that leads to a LOT of candy and a LOT of fun!!

September 2016: The rest

Just a little more miscellaneous fun from our September!

It was time to send Sassy & Pops off and get back to taking care of our own children!
And it was time for school to start!
In addition to the YMCA daycare program, we put Mason in the afternoon Whitney PreK program.  His first day was right after we got back from our trip, so it made for a bit of a rough transition for him.  I went the first day to walk him over after lunch time, but I think that was a little confusing for him and he didn't want me to leave.

We also needed some updated pictures for his "weekly calendar" to know when we would get "mommy and me" time!

Just some silly Happy-Go-Lucky Jack!

And a September camping night!

Always put out your fire!

Birthday party at Blue Fox Drive in, we didn't actually stay into the evening for the movie part, but it was fun to go do the arcade and the go karts!

One boy really into legos, one boy really into water play!
