Week 47: Dec 29-Jan 4

Mason

- We started trying out churches for the first time since before having kids.  We kept Mas and Jackson in the service with us and decided to play it by ear... Mason seemed to enjoy the singing at the beginning (it was Contemporary), but then after the singing he said, "can we leave now?"  Then, during the service he asked, "why is he not talking about Satan?" and then started singing "don't let Satan blow it out, I'm gonna let it shine!"  (At least he knows SOMETHING about the church/God situation! ;p)
- Mas has seemed pretty shy/timid the past few weeks, particularly in situations with lots of people.  He likes to stay close by and doesn't want to do activities without us.  This has been the case all Fall/Winter with our music class, and has been becoming the case when we have playdates over at our house and I need to leave the room to do something (he must come with me or he breaks down into tears!).  

- This has made for some tough drop offs at school lately, and is also the reason we are keeping him with us in the church service (until we decide which church we want to go to consistently).  Even when we took Jackson back to the play room, Mas still wanted to stay with us.
