Mason
- Is going through a [please let it be a] phase where he repeatedly says is, "I'm not sharing my toys [fill in the blank with specific toy] with him/her." Anytime he hears there's going to be a playdate, that's the first thing he says. I'm pretty sure it started with Jackson being more mobile and wanting his hands in everything - considering he says it about Jack all the time.
- One day after Jim got home from his recent trip, Mason said, "I missed you when you went on that trip that you didn't bring toys home." (on Jim's previous trip, he brought a toy home with him, ha ha!)
- Jim and Mason went shopping for my Christmas present one afternoon, then came home, hid in the middle room and wrapped it. Jim had been rehearsing with Mason that anytime I asked him what they were doing or what was in the box, Mason would say, "I love you Mommy!". He must have been pretty confident in his training, because as they walked down the stairs with the gift, Jim even encouraged me to ask what was inside... so I did... and Mason said... "a vacuum!!!" (which might sound silly to you, but it's what I wanted!!). Ha ha ha! That surprise didn't last very long but it was really funny!!
- Loves putting toys on his head! Silly little buddy.
- Says "dat!" (that!) while pointing at everything, ball, and duh-duh (Duncan)

Busy little man, doing some important work!
While trying to get a bideo of his spaghetti eating lip-smacking (left), he caught me recording him and gave me a little cheese! (right).
Daddy's birthday celebration!!
Complete with a candle blower-outer :)
Mas was pretty excited about the cake. First he went in face first into the whipped cream, then he followed that up with a few fistfuls :)
Jackson looooooooooves playing catch. It's such a fun family activity!
Last gymnastics class for Mason and Mae
I'm still considering putting Mas in the 3-year old class moving forward, once it fits our schedule!

I think I mentioned this last week, but here is where Mason yelled "hi" to Santa and told him that he thinks Christmas is beautiful.
Lunch date with our friends (Eleanor, Mae, and mommies) after music class
Christmas pajama uniform!!
Jackson is wearing the one from Mason's first Christmas... so all we had to buy this year was a new 4T for Mason.
Lunch/play date with Mae.
Left: Mason enjoyed eating all the food off of her plate more than his own.
Right: showing me how full their bellies were.

Somehow they still found some room in their bellies for hot chocolate and whipped cream!
Even little Jackson got in on the playing action.
Reading a naptime story to Mason
Mae got under the covers and gave him some snuggles. HA!
"this is my airplane. These are my wings, and this is my tail hook"
Over the weekend, we went to Seattle to do some shopping and take in the Christmas sights.
On the way home, we went to a place called Warm Beach that had quite a Christmas display!

Jackson, who is now standing up supported on things, is plenty impressed with the lights at our house :)
"Duh Duh" = Duncan (or Dunky Dunk)
"Ball!"
"Dat!"
As I said, LOVES putting toys on his head :)
Scooting on the Water Trail with Daddy
(great picture, Dad!)
(great picture, Dad!)
There's been LOTS of "building" via hammering blocks this week.
It's been pretty cute and pretty special, as Jim and Mason work together!

NOT feeling the weekly picture this week.
But my perseverance, and Brother's sweetness both paid off!
