- in a public restroom that had recently been cleaned: "it smells like nerds in this bathroom!"
- saw Santa at the mall and yelled to him, "Christmas is beautiful!"
- Jim taught Mason to say "I love you and you're beautiful" to me when Jim is out of town. He does a pretty good job of saying it to me often ;). Except one day he said, "I love you and you're beautiful... I don't want to say that. I don't love you mommy." Well. He did tell me he loved me and I'm beautiful within an hour of that again.
Jackson
- new word: "Dat!" He points at EVERYTHING and says "Dat! Dat! Dat!!" Especially lights, lamps, and buttons.
A handsome preschool school picture!
We went on the make-up day, and I stood behind the photographer and worked on getting Mason to smile. She let me pick which picture I wanted to use!

Signing "more"! His own little version.
Firefighter Playmobil Advent calendar from Lola
Turning around in his seatbelt. Can't hold him down!
Getting more stable!
Jason (from DC) was in Washington for a work trip and family visit.
We got to take him to the Navy Base to watch Jim's planes fly in.

We don't often get pictures of our little family with his plane!
Jason did a pretty good job of handling these two crazy boys!
Winter Wonderland Walk at Washington Park
A walk through the dark trail lit with luminaries, led us to a bunch of fun "booths" lit up by Christmas lights!

This was the favorite.
But seeing Ana was pretty exciting too!
(I don't think Mason knew, but this lady used to be a teacher in his classroom)

Silliness. Warming his hands.
Wakey Wakey Jackson!
Mason pretty much springs out of bed talking 90 miles an hour as soon as his eyes pop open.
I don't think Jackson is quite ready for that when we come into his room.

We pulled out another one of Mason's old toys, and of course both kids were excited about it!
I love (and feel bad about) the second picture where Mason totally stole the toy away from Jack!
