March 2016

Here's some fun pictures from Jim to start off the month!

We got this picture from Jackson's teacher - she made him this crown to wear for his birthday last month!

And here are some pictures from OTHER friends/family cameras from Mason's partay:

And this was from a great opportunity I had at Western ~ I was invited by one of my students to be her faculty member at a Faculty Appreciation Dinner for a Christian Student Fellowship group :)
My life is full of sweet.  My life is full of crazy.
The school offered a parents night out program one evening, here's the boys ready to head home afterwards in their pajamas.
Breakfast and bowling!
That's a pretty good family score! ;)

Sleep time has been quite a struggle while Daddy has been gone, but we're making it work!
This little guitar rocker LOVES watching the band at church
We've been trying a few different sleeping approaches!
Watching these boys snuggle sure makes my heart melt!
Ha!  Did I mention Duncan was involved too??
Bowls of peanut butter... why not??
Hmm, this boy cannot be trusted in the bathroom alone
Efficiency: sharing is caring.
"ninja Mason"
Super boys and monsters
Pure sweetness, singing "hush little Duncan"

I think on this night everyone slept in my bed...
don't I look well rested?  NOT.
Fluffing the bed and then taking a wiggle shake break on the way to Seattle to pick up our visitor...
Aunt Lauren!!
Mason fell asleep on Jackson's floor waiting for me to finish tucking him in.
Pretty excited making play dough with Aunt Lauren.
She sent me away for a night at the Majestic and took care of the boys!
They even made pizzas and dyed the dough.
Play dough playing and blue dough pizza eating!
Quick stop on our drive back to Seattle at the end of Aunt Lauren's week.
How much are those cute boys in the window??
Just a reminder, lest you forget: the cuteness only lasts so long.
The boys wanted to check out Aunt Lauren's hotel before saying goodbye.
We pretty much tore the place up ;)
I'd say the boys really enjoyed her visit.  I know I did!!
Some more pictures from Jim the tourist
DMZ trip

Dinner: Lucky Charms and Pirates Booty
I blame Lauren for this ;).
Always looking for entertainment and energy-releasers for these boys!  The LOVED playing dodgeball with the big kids!

We fell in love with some puppies that Mrs. Julia was fostering.

And helped feed their chickens

Sleep over in Mommy's bed
Mason's first bike ride on the water trail -
It took us 25 minutes to do a mile ;).
Sleep snuggles.  In my bed.
Serious baller skills!
It was a gooooood smoothie ;)
Reading appreciation night at school.
Jackson thought this puppet show was HILARIOUS!
Mmmhmm.  We didn't even know this classmate friend before this night!
I. Am. So. Tired.
These boys are supposed to be watching a movie and letting me rest!
All he wanted was the cereal milk.  Sigh.
Getting excited for Easter!
Sampling cake frosting.
Saaaaaay "Bunny Cake!"
A Night Out! Jungle Playland + 5 Guys
"too tired to go upstairs"
The Easter Bunny came!!
Wow, Jackson.  Just resting?  Always at the ready?
Easter at Mrs. Julias!
(her father in law is a great photographer!)

What a fun Easter egg hunt!

This is all so incredibly adorable, and I had totally fell in love with these pups.  That is, until Jackson threw one over the 2nd floor banister.  I. AM. NOT. KIDDING.  Thankfully the little guy landed on a padded chair and was probably a bit shaken up, but fine.  I, on the other hand, cried, yelled at Jackson, cried some more, and then called that the end of Easter.
Hmm.  I'm not really sure, but it'll be the grand finale picture for the month!
