Surprise!
We surprised Mason with a trip to Oak Harbor for the Fire and Rescue Open House!
He got to learn about water safety and check out the boats
OF COURSE he spent some time in the fire trucks
and then back to the boats :)
His firefighter gear was a huge crowd pleaser
Even the current Fire Chief loved it!
We finished by watching an automobile rescue demo
This was week 2 of gymnastics.
Mason pretty much just wanted to do his own thing this class, which involved very little activity and a lot of building towers and hiding out in "bear caves".
But we had a fun picnic with our friends at the park after, so we found a way to get some energy out!
I took the boys back to an Anacortes park after nap.
Jackson's first time in the swing was a HUGE success!
And on the right: Mason is working his way up to the sky.
I LOVE this picture of my two swinging boys!
As we were walking back to the car, Mason picked up the red/orange leaf on the left and said, "Look mom, it looks like a nectarine!" Then he picked up the green leaf and said, "and this one is a green apple!" I love that healthy foods come to mind when he sees these beautiful colors!
<3 Daddy and Mason reading some bed time stories <3
Saturday Jackson and I flew to Atlanta for a work conference. He was a pretty awesome travel buddy. He slept 2x during our 4.5 hour flight, and was otherwise quite happy! We got moved to a different seat so we had a free seat next to us, perfect!
This is what Mason's Saturday looked like with Daddy.
A little picnic and relaxing while watching football, then there was an attempt to go to the circus in Everett, but it was too loud and Mason didn't like it, so they ended up at the outlet mall near by to get Mason a few new clothing items and play.
Finally back home for another picnic meal to watch the Aggies play.
In addition to new 3T clothes (my little guy is getting so BIG!!), they got 2 new pairs of shoes and some slippers
Here's more of me and my sweet traveling snuggle bug!
Lola and Jennifer drove down from North Carolina to take care of Jackson while I was at the conference.
My mom wanted to get a picture of me in front of the sign ;)
Oh my, check out brother Face Time on the right!!
Funny boys: Jackson learned how to pull his visor down and Mason wanted to wear a "half lid" like Daddy. Maybe Jim is the silliest boy, giving Mason the Vodka brand half lid ;)
Growing big, big, bigger!
