August 2016

August in Anacortes... some days nice weather, some days still a little cool and hazy!

 Dad's diner
Weekend sillies
not a good sign after 2 days with poops in his room during nap!
Wii Mario and Children's Museum Dino cuteness
The boys came out to cheer for my 10K race!
<3 Date night on the majestic rooftop <3
I love that place, and their strong drinks!!
gonna need to frame this one
Farmer's Market
Our favorite Skaatl the SeaLion at the Tommy Thompson Trail
(aka "water trail")

The boys were loving the computer at the library
so we tried to get my old computer out for Mason again
it's still a bit tough to use the mouse, and the speakers weren't working so he needed headphones.  It's all just easier on the iPad!
 Another great summer concert
(conveniently starts right after my workout, in the same parking lot!)
You know, when  it gets to be 70 degrees... tee hee!

Night out at the county fair.  The boys had a BLAST!!

they did at least 3 times on the roller coaster
Ferris wheel: Mason timid, Jackson standing in exhilaration

Just my sweet Rockin Jack
Fun at Tugboat Beach with Heidi and Owen
 Friday night concert
We happened upon a piano on our way to breakfast, so Mason stopped to play Dinosaur Music Night!
 Sweet Super Jack

Mae and Eleanor had an AWESOME horseback ridin 4th birthday party!

There was a lot of sweetness

And something special going on between these two that day! <3

We followed it up with a sweet tea party at Eleanor's the next day and a little DQ treat on our drive back home!

Jim was out of town, but I took the boys to the "BrewFest" bbq at the Navy base as part of Growler Week festivities
They found the stage right away
And they got to fly the simulator and land the plane on the boat!

The band was a big hit ;)

The next day I walked all three boys over to a Pirate party across the street,
Kissed my Capt goodbye, and I set off to decorate our table for the Growler ball.

Growler Ball that night!  Jackson wouldn't let me put him down, and Mason took our picture and I love, love, love it <3

I rented my dress from Rent the Runway, and LOVED it too!

 CDR Jim Lockard, CO

The theme was Vegas, which of course we had to put our Star Warriors stamp on!

It was so fun to get all dressed up for the night, we've got a great squadron of buddies!

Hmm.  Jackson.
Sweet bedtime snuggles
the boys love their book time!
Star wars decorations repurposed
Can't wait to see more of this cuteness in the coming years!

Anacortes Open Streets, they close off downtown and you can scoot and bike around.  Jackson was mesmerized with this 8 year old electric guitar player.  We watched him for 30 min!
 Snoring through our movie time
