I'm not sure why, but this feels like such a big milestone to me, and like quite an accomplishment for the parents!!
He had had his 1-year check up this week:
weight: 21 lb (22%ile)
height 30 in (58%ile)
head circumference 47 cm (68%)
I love it when Jackson's school texts me pictures!
They did some painting (left) and then some shaving cream play (right).

I love that they said to me, "he isn't a fan of the shaving cream...YET"
Guacamole! A little spoon work, but eventually gave up and cleaned out the bowl with his fingers.
I missed these pics last week - we went to visit our buddy Chuck!
Mason played a bunch of games, but the highlight was both boys together riding on the hot chocolate cup :)
PB&J in the car!
I might have stuffed it a little too full ;)
This is how the boys get in the bounce house
Run away Jackson! He thinks he's pretty funny when he crawls away from you.
Working on making words
"Door"(?)
He's really moving around and interacting with his toys!

Letting go with his hands while standing!
I love the surprised look on his face.

Watching their friends leave from a playdate
Party animal on the loose! We had to go order balloons for his big day!
And that led us right into his 52nd and FINAL weekly pictures!
He woke up with a fever and a super stuffy nose, so he wasn't looking so hot, but he was in great spirits all day, and pulled it together nicely for his cake smash photo shoot that night!
(still waiting, waiting, waiting to get all those pictures back!)

He loves standing at this desk and holding the pencils.
(and most recently, loves throwing the pencils off the balcony down to the main level).
